Carmella the Eastern Milk
Snake
(Lampropeltis triangulum
triangulum)
When we first
encountered Carmella, she was frozen stiff and had a really bad case of
frostbite on her tail tip. She was close to shedding and had skin so dry it made
crackle noises when she moved. We housed her in a 10 gallon with lots of
warmth and humidity while rubbing silvadine on her tail & zoo med skin spray
on the rest of her. After the shed she looks so much better! Then she suprises
us with a 9 egg clutch..
All 9 healthy
babies hatched and are doing very well. Click the gallery button for "birthday"
